Darwin Argos Painting is a locally owned and locally based painting contractor. Handed down from
father to son, we provide a high standard of quality service and workmanship. Operating as a local

and Wattyl paints. At Darwin Argos Painting, we are able to colour match and/or change colours,
accommodating to the clients’ specific needs. We offer premium and reliable domestic painting
services, including but not limited to new home painting, existing home painting, as well as historical
restorations to older properties.

Meet John
John began his career in the painting and construction industry at the of age 16, having just completed year 12. Being driven and disciplined, John was handed the reins to the family business and decided, there was no other direction to go than forward.
In John’s second year as a painter, he secured a contract with DHA (Defence Housing Australia), making him one of the youngest contractors, at the ripe age of 18 at the time. John has been contracted and working with DHA for over 20 years since.
Bringing a fresh approach to work standards, it wasn’t long before painting took a turn for the better.
John is a second generation Greek local. Having a traditional upbringing, good morals, ethics and beliefs, John went on to apply these virtues in day-to-day business. When people describe John, words such as honest, reliable, patient, helpful, generous, and compassionate (as a few) are used.
Today, John is blessed with his beautiful wife and children. Incorporating both ‘family man’ with ‘successful business owner’, John continues to learn and grow throughout all life’s challenges. Not wanting to take life for granted, and instead, live it to the fullest, John understands the importance of keeping mentally and physically healthy.
A daily application of all blessings and lessons is what leads John and the team to overall local business success.
